After that, the dignitaries present in His Excellency's assembly from the ports of Khartoum and others employed in the victorious army, and in this manner, after leaving His Excellency, one group after another, they headed towards the tent of His Excellency General Hicks Pasha to offer congratulations in the aforementioned manner. At 2:30 AM, I went from the tent of His Excellency Al-Makdar to the tent of the aforementioned General to offer congratulations as well, and I stayed with him for one hour.
