The day was upon him, and he hesitated a little. When they approached the tent, they rose up, and said to him, "Go back where you came from." I informed them of his identity, saying, "I dare you to come in his way." He said, "I am ordered to arrest you if you do not return to the place you came from." They became suspicious, and he wanted to force his way out from them. So they gathered around him to stop him until he was followed. He said to them, "I am wounded." So they fell upon him and killed him. He gained nothing from his rebellion but the hastening of his end. And for this reason, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "Every rebel has his death," or as he said, may God have mercy on him. Sayyid Ali Al-Ghurab says: The sower of rebellion reaps regret. So seek peace if you desire peace. Do not be deceived by what you see, for every rebel achieves what he hopes for and dies in his disgrace. Perhaps the tent was a bed for death and a source of regret. Perhaps it deceived the seeker of a goal, just as it deceived the dreamer of a dream. Perhaps many strive to live a long life, while they are being deceived and do not know their fate. And when the Sultan heard of the death of Al-Amin, he said, "Wrap him in a shroud and place him in a coffin." And when the Sultan was informed, he summoned all his slaves, all armed and prepared. He arranged them at the doors and ordered the doorkeepers to open the doors. When the first one entered, they seized him. And he ordered them to hide.
