And also the prayer upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace, as it is upon one of them, is a kindness and a good deed. If the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, intended to neglect the prayer upon him, then he would forget.

This is the wording of the author, and it is the wording of Ibn Farhun. The reason for the neglect is abandonment, because it is as if he said:

"You find the hand of the one who abandons it in his hand, and it is acquired. This is unlike forgetting, which is

meaning inattention. For the one who is taken by it is a slave, but rather from those who are absent from it, he does what

he does. He is absent from it.

Then it is incumbent upon him to have the virtue of that. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is not to be blamed for his mercy. It is established in the two Sahihs. The one who is sick, the traveler, and also he who misses the congregational prayer without his fault or negligence. And God knows best. Forgetting

cannot be imagined as a constant habit. Rather, it is on the basis of rarity and scarcity. There is no discussion of it, otherwise it would be

forbidden in religion, and what is forbidden in religion is forbidden by God Almighty. And "forgot" means to turn away from its meaning, which is well-known in language, as in the saying "The suns." Then you remember it, so you seek to confirm it. Al-Zamakhashari mentioned it in Asas al-Balagha

as a metaphor. Ibn Hisham said: It is from the use of the implied and the intention of the implied, because whoever forgets has abandoned without excuse. End quote. Then

this forgetful person, the prayer upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace, is not to be prayed for. It is agreed that he is not prayed for. And one prayer is agreed upon as obligatory. This is what Al-Nishwary said in his

explanation of the statement: If he abandoned it

intentionally, it is because he was disobedient to God Almighty. And he said: He abandoned the abundant prayer upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace,

and contented himself with one prayer or the like. So, according to the opinion that abundant prayer is obligatory,

there is no doubt that his abandonment of it is a sin. And according to the opinion that it is not obligatory, then even if

he abandons it, it indicates a lack of religion and extreme weakness of faith, and a lack of love for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and a lack of interest in his religion. And whoever is like that, it is apparent that he is not prayed for. The straight path is not followed, and he is not asked about what he has committed. He is exposed to tribulation when calamities strike, and to doubt and reversal

when he witnesses them. These are the earthquakes of existence. He is in great danger. This is inevitably straying from the path of Paradise. And it is said that he abandoned the prayer upon him,

may God bless him and grant him peace, when he was commanded to pray upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he neglected it. And it is supported by the hadiths that call for distance and aversion, and what is with them. This is evidence

of the obligation. And God knows best. If the one who abandons the prayer upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace,

is distant from it, meaning he shuns it and does not seek it, as if the one who is prayed for is

going to Paradise. This is because he was informed that the one who abandons the prayer upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace,

strays from the path of Paradise. And there is no escape from praying upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace, and abandoning it, whether it is one prayer

or not. And he does not seek one of the two paths. And the habit of the one who is prayed for is the opposite of the habit of the one who abandons it, because

forgetting is a virtue from God, and the ruling on him is the opposite of the ruling on the one who abandons it. And by analogy of the opposite, the one who is prayed for is on the path to Paradise.
