-He ruled for months and years, not counting the years. The minimum number of years is three. If he ruled for two years and eleven months and some twenty days, he would not be considered to have ruled for years by the Arabs. This period, for the Arabs, remains within the rule of years. This was like the rule of (King Salman bin Abdul Aziz).

-Perhaps this king (king of years and months) is the one mentioned in the narration: "Your Caliph dies, who gathers wealth, and appoints a weak man after him, who is deposed after two years, and the Romans and Turks ally, and wars appear on earth." (Al-Aqd al-Farid) by Ibn Abd Rabbih. It is known that the largest surplus in the budget of the last Arab Muslim state (Saudi Arabia) was during the years of (King Abdullah), but the man who came after him (King Salman) is weak due to his old age and illness, and perhaps he will be deposed before he completes three years of his rule, so that he does not become a king of years, but remains within the rule of months and years.

The rule of the House of Saud.

(In a narration:) "You will not see relief until four of them rule, all from the loins of one man. When that happens, then relief will come." (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah) This has been fulfilled. Four kings have ruled from (King Abdul Aziz Al Saud), and they are: Saud, Faisal, Khalid, and Fahd.

Regardless of who came after them from the same lineage. The relief here is the emergence of the Mahdi.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When the fifth of my household dies, then relief, relief. The seventh is the seventh, and so on, until the Mahdi rises." (Sunan Ibn Majah) The narrations do not agree on the word "Bayt" (house) because those who ruled from the Ahl al-Bayt have reached many. So, the word "Bayt" is a misunderstanding and an insertion, and what is not correct. Therefore, the saying "a house ruling among the Arabs, close to the emergence of the Mahdi" is correct.

Explanation: (King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz) is the fifth, and many seditions, wars, and killings occurred after him, meaning the last days of (King Abdullah) bin Abdul Aziz. The sign of the Mahdi's emergence is the death of the seventh among them, and he is (King Salman bin Abdul Aziz). Even if the chain of narration is weak, its meaning is strengthened by many supporting evidence and follow-ups.

The three years before the Mahdi: Sufyan al-Kulaib said: "In the year of seven, tribulation; in the year of eight, disease; and in the year of nine, famine." (Al-Aqd al-Farid) by Ibn Abd Rabbih. This does not mean that the Mahdi will appear immediately after, but perhaps these will happen, and then the Mahdi will appear soon after. The following has been fulfilled: -The year (seven AH) saw severe tribulation, wars, and seditions, followed by the year (eight AH) of disease. Disease is the plague and epidemics among the Arabs. As soon as tribulation, disease, and epidemics came, famine was inevitable, and it was warned against.

-These years are like 1337 AH, 1338 AH, and 1339 AH.

-This narration appeared in the chapter on signs that occur before the Mahdi. Therefore, the emergence of the Mahdi is after the year 1339 AH.

Disruption of roads and pathways in the Arabian Peninsula, people's heedlessness, and the manifestation of injustice: Abdullah bin Masoud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When trade and roads are cut off, and seditions increase..." (Fitan al-Nu'aym) The Messenger of Allah said: "When a time of hardship comes, and seditions appear, a man will be called the Mahdi." (Al-Aqd al-Farid) by Ibn Abd Rabbih.

The signs of the Mahdi's emergence are the disruption of roads and trade due to seditions, wars, and the borders between Islamic states. This has been fulfilled.

3-Signs in Yemen: The expulsion of the people of Yemen to Yemen: Abdullah bin Amr said: "How will you be, O people of Yemen, when the Mudar expel you?" We said: "That will happen, O Abu Muhammad." He said: "Yes, by Him in whose hand is my soul. They will be unjust to you." Then a man from Yemen said: "Those who have wronged will know to what [final] place of return they will be returned." Abdullah said: "If I were to witness that, I would be with you." (Fitan al-Nu'aym) In another narration: Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas sat in the mosque of Damascus, and among them were only the people of Yemen. He said: "O people of Yemen, how will you be when we expel you from Sham and take it for ourselves?" They said: "Will that happen?" He said: "Yes, by the Lord of the Kaaba." Then he said: "Why don't you speak?" Some of the people said: "Are we more unjust than you, or are you?" He said: "Rather, you are more unjust." Then the Yemeni said: "Praise be to Allah. Those who have wronged will know to what [final] place of return they will be returned." (Fitan al-Nu'aym) These events have been happening since 1382 AH, when the people of Yemen were expelled from Saudi Arabia, following the events of the 1382 AH war, which is known to everyone. Then the expulsion, siege, and injustice were completed in the recent war events of 2015 AD against Yemen by the Arab countries.
