He is Sheikh Muhammad bin Sheikh Dafa Allah bin Al-Islam, the pious, ascetic, recluse, and follower of the path. He was born in Al-Jiyab and grew up. He is now known as the Mosque of Abu Adris. He memorized the Quran under Sheikh Abdullah Al-Turki and followed the path of the Sufis under him. He guided him, gave him permission to travel, and to train disciples. He found in Sheikh Abdullah's handwriting that he said, "When I saw the eager student, Muhammad bin Dafa Allah, famous as Abu Adris, worthy of this noble position, I reminded him of the word of monotheism and gave him absolute permission to recite the names, the sword war, and other mentioned supplications and reported remembrances. I also gave him permission to wear the robe, and I appointed him as my successor, just as my sheikh, Hassan Al-Basri, who is one of his sheikhs, appointed me. And he was guided by Sheikh Taj al-Din Al-Bari Al-Baghdadi. Then Sheikh Abu Adris stood for preaching and training disciples, and those who followed the path of the Sufis under him, and his son Sheikh Dafa Allah, and Sheikh Abu Atifa bin Ahmad, his brother, and Sheikh Najm Abd Al-Sharika, and Al-Haj Salama Al-Daba'i, and Abd Al-Sha'ir, and a large group. Each of these mentioned individuals had knowledge, revelations, and visions. He had a great friendship and closeness with Sheikh Idris. They were in Abyad Dairi, and his brother Abdullah was a student of Sheikh Abd Al-Rahman bin Jabir at that time. Then he traveled with his family from Abyad Dairi and settled in Dhahrat Al-Hilaliyah because they were Bedouins. He married the daughter of Al-Haj Al-Ja'ali Al-Nawa, who was in Al-Kurda, and she bore him his son, after whom he was nicknamed. He and his mother died young. Then the Rifaa'in attacked them, cut off their camels' ears, so they fled from them and settled in the forest of Rifaa'. He married the daughter of Umm Barda Rifaa', and their son is Matin. She and her two daughters have passed away. He stayed there for seventeen years, and he was known for his asceticism, and there are stories, anecdotes, and news about him. Among them is that he used to recite the Quran without a cloak. Throughout his life, he never stood at the door of a ruler for intercession or any other reason. It is told that Sheikh Ajib Al-Wali sent to his brother Sheikh Abdullah to come to him and ordered him to bring Sheikh Abu Idris. He refused to meet him. And he, may God be pleased with him, and his students saw the caravan of Sheikh Ajib on the side of the road. He dismounted and sat hidden in the shade of a tree and cut it with a basket. He said to them, "If they ask you, tell them that we have opened it for them." He married the daughter of Sheikh Dafa Allah. He sent a student of his, called Ibn Abu Ja'r, to Al-Haj Salama Al-Daba'i, and he found a daughter with him.
