But the true incarnation in Islam, because its command and prohibition are from Allah Almighty, unlike the corrupted Christians, and the deviated ideologies, which depict the savior or deliverer according to their whims. For example: the Gospel describes Jesus (peace be upon him) as the Son of Man, but the corrupted Christians describe him as the Son of God – and God forbid that He should have a son. Similarly, they describe the saints upon whom Jesus descends to help them against their enemies as their gods (i.e., Christians), and they are not convinced that the Muslims are the people of the true, straight religion, and they are the saints, whose description came in the Gospel. As for the Jews, they make their savior to be the Antichrist, whom they will call "the Master of Peace, the Lord, the Prophet, the.....", and they are not convinced that whoever claims lordship and divinity cannot be a savior, but rather a rebellious devil, destroying people. The greatest tribulation is changing people's religion to false beliefs. The discussion would be long if I tried to elaborate, and I will suffice with what has been said. But unfortunately, some people make this doubt a reason to question the reality of the Mahdi. I will suffice with what has been said, as the door to debate is wide, and a hint is enough for the wise. Allah is the Most High, the Most Knowing, and the Most Majestic, and He alone is behind the intention and the path. And my Lord forbid that falsehood should descend at all.
We all want the elevation of ourselves. My Muslim brother: Do you want to live honorably among the nations?! Do you want the criminal to think a thousand times before spilling his blood?! Do you want a Muslim to be wronged on earth?! Do you want a Muslim, whether a man, woman, or child, to be humiliated on earth?! Or do you want to live a life of humiliation, weakness, and subservience?! As they are today, it is not permissible for a Muslim to be killed, wronged, or have anything done to him. And as is known among people, the honor and elevation of the nation reflect positively on all its individuals. And as the Messenger, peace be upon him, informed, that in the time of the Mahdi (peace be upon him), Allah will reunite the nation after its dispersion through him, and that Allah will grant him victory and victory to his companions until they restore the nation's glory.
Do you want the victory of the Islamic nation? If we speak in terms of ambition and aspiration, do you, my Muslim brother, want the existence of a righteous Muslim personality around whom the nation will unite, and through whom victory and elevation will be achieved? The Nasserites changed in the era of Gamal Abdel Nasser, and the Ba'athists changed in the persons of some of them, such as Saddam Hussein, and some changed in others. This has been repeated in several personalities, and among many people and nations, but Allah did not decree for them what the majority wanted. This can also be evidence that the idea of the unifier and savior is innate. It exists in all nations, contrary to its forms. So why don't you believe, O you who deny the matter of the Mahdi, even if only out of ambition? Allah will reveal the truth of the matter in time, (because his emergence is a certain and inevitable certainty).
Does the Mahdi know that he is the Mahdi? This is one of the most frequent questions regarding the Mahdi, and the answer in brief is: he knows himself, but without certainty from him about it. That is, he knows that he has the same qualities as the Mahdi, and he knows a great deal of information that many people do not know. And he receives confirmation from many others that he is the Mahdi, but he does not become certain that he is the Mahdi himself, except after the pledge of allegiance. And in the interpretation of some scholars: The previous text: "Allah will set him right in one night," meaning after that night in which he pledges allegiance, Allah Almighty will strengthen his heart that he is the Mahdi, and from that day he will begin to manage the affairs of his state, and of course, the foundation for that will begin.
For the Messenger of Allah knew that he was a messenger before the revelation came down, as it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "I know a stone in Mecca that used to greet me before I was sent. I know it now." And he knew before that and throughout his life that he was the messenger of the end times, whether from the monk Bahira or others. But he did not inform people of this due to the lack of complete certainty, except after the mission and the descent of Gabriel upon him. Then the certainty was achieved, which leads to acting upon what he was tasked with. And here, in the matter of the Mahdi, the same applies to him completely. There is no revelation here, but rather hadiths, narrations, and confirmation from Allah to his heart with the required certainty to achieve the matter. Among the things that suggest that he knows himself, and others know him, are texts that came in his biographical narrative in books, including: Al-Fitan by Nu'aym, Al-Fitan by Al-Dayn, and 'Aqd al-Durar by Al-Maqdisi, and Al-Kawkab al-Sati' by Al-Suyuti, and others. And among them:
