And as for him who narrated it with "fa'", he made the entry into a place that includes separate dwellings, which we can use to distinguish between them. When he says "between the houses of entry," he means all the places, so he separates them by whatever letters of separation he wishes, as in his saying: "We encamped between Baghdad and Kufa." It is also possible for "fa'" to mean "to," so the entry is from the beginning to the end, as in his saying: "O best of people, we have read, so we have come from Qarn to Qadam."

And the woman, and she is not a woman, but rather what she has woven from the south and the north. Al-Muqra'ah is two places. And his saying, "its trace has not faded," means it has not disappeared, meaning that which the wind has erased, because the winds bring dust and erase it.

As for the saying: "So this trace remains unchanged, we grieve for it. If it were erased, we would have found rest." He said: "Oh, would that the dwellings were as they were." And the verses...

So if it is said, "Where is the doer of this?" there are several answers to that. One of them is that the doer is implied, even if it is not mentioned, due to the indication of the speech, like His saying, "until it was hidden by the veil." It is also possible that "min" is an addition for emphasis, according to Abu al-Hasan, so it would be:

"Sajhamiya" and "shamaliya" and "hurriya." It is also possible that the doer is implied, and the feminine is used for the meaning, as they said: "Your need has come," with the verb in the accusative, and the pronoun for "ma" is feminine because "haajah" (need) is feminine. It is also permissible, if you consider "min" to be an addition according to Abu al-Hasan, to make it a source.

The "taa'" refers back to Al-Muqra'ah, and it is implied that it refers to all the mentioned places. And he said "its trace" and not "their traces," to suffice with the singular.

And as for the "ashn al-sitri," its bones are flowing, and its branches are like a living thing.

The traces are in the sand, and its streams are like a living thing.
