Scope of the Study: The current study is limited as follows: 1- By the study community, where the sample representing this community is limited to children aged between (5-6) years. 2- By the study's feasibility, as the researcher applies the field study procedures in one of the kindergartens. 3- By its use of puppet theater and its various elements, as a distinctive educational activity for developing the creative thinking of preschool children. 4- By the abilities of creative thinking as measured by: - Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking in Performance and Movement for Preschool Children, translated and prepared by: Hamdi Hussein (1983). It measures the dimensions/abilities (fluency - originality - imagination). Study Methodology: The study uses the Experimental Method, which relies on dividing the study sample into two homogeneous groups: experimental and control. Study Terms: The researcher used several terms in the current study, the definitions of which are worth noting procedurally below: Kindergarten Child: (1) This is a child who is of kindergarten age, and in this study, it is defined as an age ranging between (5-6) years. Creative Thinking: The researcher adopts Torrance's definition of creative thinking, which defines it as the process of sensing problems and deficiencies in information, formulating ideas and hypotheses, then testing and modifying those hypotheses, and communicating the results to others. (Torrance, 1969: 145) The researcher addresses the development of the following dimensions/abilities of it, which constitute it – through the current study program – and the researcher defines these abilities procedurally as follows: (1) The researcher focuses in the current study on using the term "kindergarten child" more than the term "preschool child" as the former is more suitable for the topic of the current study. Also, as the concept of "preschool child" includes not only the kindergarten child but also the infant and the toddler... all of which fall under the concept of "preschool child." Therefore, the researcher's choice of the term "kindergarten child" is more specific than the term "preschool child" and more suitable for this study (Researcher).
