He sat, and the dignitaries of the state surrounded him. He greeted us and did not inform us. The faqih Malik said to him, "This is if you consult." Omar Al-Nuni, the scholar residing in Al-Wihmadul, whom he had sent with his uncle to deliver greetings to His Excellency. This is a letter from his father. He took the letter and opened it. When he knew what was in it, he began to be kind to me and to greet me in honor of my father. The gift was completed, so he accepted it and ordered it to be placed in the treasury. He then began to greet me with salutations in honor of my father. Then he ordered the faqih Malik to host us until he gave us permission to depart. We were hosted by the faqih Malik for three days, and we were in the most honored hospitality. On the fourth day, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Mukhdar invited us. He read on the hand of the faqih Malik, and gave us many clothes, a robe, a cloak, and cotton from Indian cotton. He ordered for me two ships and a slave, and wrote to me as I read later. My image is from the presence of the honored one, the generous one, from whom goodness and bliss never depart, the Grand Vizier, the one who relies on God, who hears and sees, the learned Sheikh Muhammad Ki Al-Rahra, the esteemed Grand Sheikh, the refuge of the great, the sign of the age, and the beloved descendant of the master of the children of Adnan, the Sayyid Al-Sharif Omar Al-Tunisi, may his glory last. To whom it may concern, It has come before us, by the grace of the honored, respected, and great ruler, the beloved who has sent us a gift, according to his noble lineage and his generosity, which has greatly pleased us.
