Then he called out, raising his voice: "The rider has fallen, O companions!" He raised his voice. The Sheikh, whose name was Al-Nahy, said, "Lower your voice. Do you not know that the Prophet, peace be upon him, attends wherever he is praised?" He recited a verse from the poet's work. As for the remembrance, he was with him. After he finished, the Emir came to him. He knew the miracles and the virtues of the Imamate. He was very fond of the praisers because of his intense love for the Prophet, peace be upon him. The place of praise was near his residence. Whenever he heard them praising him, he would come out with hot loaves, as if they had just come out of the oven at that moment, even if it was in the middle of the night. People said it was a miracle. It is narrated that the believers saw water dripping on his clothes one day while he was praying the morning prayer. He said, "Bring me a garment." So he put on a garment, and the water dripped on it at that moment. It is narrated that people crowded around his bier in the dark of night, colliding until they fell to the ground. They were in love with him and clung to him like a burning fire until they stood up and held on. Many unknown people were seen there, and this was among his miracles. May God Almighty have mercy on him. He died in the early part of the year 22 after 900. The scholar Al-Tahwy died at the end of that year. I found it in some histories and heard from some scholars who had a good memory and cared about knowing histories that my master Abu Al-Qasim died in the year 35 after 900, and that Abu Al-Barakat, the scholar Muhammad bin Omar, did not die after him for more than twenty years. He did not stand before the people to pray after he had been appointed Imam for his cousin, Imam Ahmad Muhammad, due to the weakness of his limbs from old age, except for the funeral of my master Abu Al-Qasim Al-Tuwani and the funeral of his witness, Fayyad Al-Ghadamsi. He prayed over them and was buried in the new cemetery, and many were buried there.
