The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions said: "When does one love God?"
It is conditioned by the love of His Messenger, may God Almighty say: "If you love God, then follow me, and God will love you."
May God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "When does one love God's Messenger?" He said: "When you follow his way and implement his Sunnah, meaning you adhere to it and prefer it in your affairs, and you love what he loves for you, and you dislike what he dislikes for you, and you do not love except what he loves.
And the love of God is a condition for the love of His Messenger, or three, or four, or five, in the subject of the verb. And so it is said: "This is what he said, and he hated what he hated, and he took him as his ally, and he was pleased with his alliance, and he was pleased with his alliance, and he was pleased with his alliance."
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, appears outwardly.
So follow his Sunnah.
His love, and hating his hatred, and following his way. This is in addition to other signs, which are: Do not love except what he loves, and do not hate except what he hates, so that you are a follower of him and what he brought. Among them is that you take him as your ally and hate him after your hatred, because he is the beloved and the worshipped, and his enemy is the hated and the hated.
And among the signs of his love for him: And the preoccupation of the heart with his remembrance. Also, preferring him over oneself.
Remembering God Almighty, and sending abundant blessings upon him, and wishing to see him, may God protect you from all evil.
And among them is to adorn oneself with his morals and to be polite with his qualities and manners, such as generosity, altruism, kindness, patience, humility, asceticism in the world, and turning away from its temptations, and avoiding the people of heedlessness.
And turning to the affairs of the Hereafter, and drawing near to its people, and loving the scholars, and seeking to be close to them, and drawing near to them, and abundant remembrance of them.
And believing in their superiority over all worldly people. Love for God is for the people of obedience, religion, and the righteous and ascetics, and hatred for God is for the wicked and the innovators.
Certainty, such as hope, and hope, and gratitude, and shyness, and peace.
And reliance, and longing, and love, and pouring out the heart.
To God Almighty, and the tranquility of the heart in his remembrance, and the joy in his law, may He be exalted, and the singularity of God.
And to support him and support his religion by spreading his Sunnah and believing in it and spreading it over opinion and desire, and abandoning all desires and turning away from evil.
And solace in calamities, and preoccupation.
His deeds, and his obedience, and his greatness when he is remembered, and his hatred for his enemies, and his concern for them, and his solace in what he has suffered.
Longing to meet him, and the remembrance of the Quran that he brought, and the delight in his remembrance.
And joy at hearing his name. Whoever possesses all of this, then he has a full share of reward, and this is His saying, may He be exalted: "Say: If you love God, then follow me, and God will love you."
God Almighty rewards the servant for his good following of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, with the love of God Almighty. This is not achieved except by following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and preferring him over oneself. And people vary in their faith.
In strength and weakness, according to their strength and weakness.
And it is said: "When do you love God?" He said: "When you love His Messenger."
And it is said: "When do you love His Messenger?" He said: "When you follow his way and implement his Sunnah."
And people vary in faith.
According to their variation in love.
