And from the scholars on the path, from the people of light/from the people of fire. And the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever forgets to pray for me has missed the path to Paradise." Al-Sharaf al-Mustafa said, and others narrated from him, peace be upon him, that he said: "Prayer is light, and the path is like the prayer of those who pray for me, eighty years." Narrated by Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him. And in it is a mention of another hadith: from Ibn Umar. And the mentioned hadiths indicate that people on the Day of Resurrection will be among those in darkness and among those in light, and they will differ in that. And this has come clearly in other hadiths. And light, said Al-Saeed Al-Din Al-Gharib: "It is what is abundant in the sky and what is used in the darkness, which is difficult for the eyes to perceive. And whoever is on the path from the people of light will not be from the people of fire. This is what has come." The fire says to the believer: "I have extinguished your light." And this is the wording in the original, and it is so with Ibn Farhun and in Al-Durr Al-Manzum by Al-Aziz. He said, may God bless him and grant him peace: "Prayer is light, and the path is light. And whoever is on the path from the people of light will not be from the people of fire." And it is said that it is not with Ibn Farhun and in the majority of Al-Aziz's works. And the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever forgets to pray for me is the fastest to fall into the abyss on the Day of Resurrection." From the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, that whoever forgets to pray for me has missed the path to Paradise. And Abu Nu'aym narrated this wording in Al-Hilya from Ibn Abbas and Abu Ja'far Al-Baqir, may God be pleased with them. And others narrated it from Jabir and Al-Tibrani in Al-Kabir, and it is good from the hadith of Al-Husayn ibn Ali, may God be pleased with them. And its wording is: "Whoever misses the path to Paradise..." And Al-Bayhaqi narrated it. And it is mentioned in Al-Shu'ab from Abu Hurayrah, with the wording: "Whoever forgets to pray for me has missed the path to Paradise." And he narrated in it from Abu Ja'far Al-Baqir, as a mursal hadith, with the wording: "Whoever forgets to pray for me, his path to Paradise is missed." And Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, said: "Prayer for the Prophet, peace be upon him, is the path to Paradise." It is narrated by Al-Tibrani and Al-Bayhaqi. And the wording of Ibn Farhun and Al-Mu'arradi is: "Whoever misses the path to Paradise." And they mentioned it with a wording similar to it, but I do not know of it. Ibn Farhun mentioned it, and its wording is: "Whoever forgets to pray for me has missed the path to Paradise." And Al-Mu'arradi said in Al-Shifa from the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, and Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in Al-Shu'ab from him as well. And his saying: "He has missed the path to Paradise" means that the intended path to Paradise here is prayer for the Prophet, peace be upon him. For Abu Hurayrah had forgotten it with Al-Bara', and if he had left it, he would have missed the path to Paradise, because it is not attained or guided except through him, peace be upon him. And it is said that the intended path to Paradise is the path to Paradise in the Hereafter, and that whoever is blessed with prayer for him, peace be upon him, in this world, has a path to Paradise in the Hereafter, and he will have no path to it without it. And the past tense is used to indicate what has happened or to describe what will happen as if it has happened. And the hadith of the original is what is mentioned in the hadiths about the supplication against those who neglect prayer for him, peace be upon him, upon completion of worship, and the misfortune and misery. And he described it as a deficiency and a flaw. Ibn Hajar relied on the authentic hadiths mentioned, that it is obligatory, as he mentioned, because this necessitates a threat, and a threat for neglecting it is a sign of obligation. And also,
