And to Nasr, son of Malik bin Al-Haytham, the Faraqi, and to Dawud, son of Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Dhahli, and to Amr, son of Al-Akthar bin Tarit, the Murqi. And to Uyaynah, son of Musa bin Ka'b, the Murqi. And to Sahl, son of Al-Qasim bin Mujashi', the Murqi, and whoever holds the position of Naqib. And to those who join them, such as Malik bin Al-Tawwaf, the Murqi. And later, among those who directly participated in the killing of Marwan bin Firam bin Hubayrah, and whoever killed Ibn Sabbara, and whoever killed Nabatah bin Hanzalah, are the Arabs of the Call and the sincere among the people of the state. And whoever conquered Sindh, it was Musa bin Ka'b. And whoever conquered Ifriqiyah, it was Muhammad bin Al-Ash'ath. And I said, and he said, and the master says: We offer sincere advice and deep affection. And we are a place of trust in times of hardship and distress. And the master's affliction is from below, necessitating love from above, because the honor of his master returns to him, and his nobility is confirmed in his generosity and comprehensiveness. The position of his master is the source of his status and his sufficiency. If all the qualities of generosity are gathered in him, because his master was greater, more honorable, and more apparent in all of them, then he himself was more honorable and noble. And my master, I submit to you with a pure heart, and I hold dear a sincere conscience, and I am the least envious. And after they said: You have no noble lineage, then we have acquired the lineage that the Arab boasts of, and we have the origin that the non-Arab brags about. And he said: Patience has many forms, and the noblest of them all is patience in claiming secrets. And the master has in this honor what no one else has. And we have a special entrance and a subtle path in service. And we have, along with obedience, service, sincerity, and good intentions, the service of sons to fathers, and fathers to grandfathers, and the sons of my brothers, Anas, and the sons of my sister, Tam, and the sons of my uncle, Ister. And Al-Mansur and Muhammad bin Ali and Ali bin Abdullah used to count their clients by mutual association and mediation.
