Do not forget to represent them in this committee. As for my personal opinion on how this international committee should be formed, it is to leave all that to the Sudanese Parliament. (2) The guarantee of a free and neutral atmosphere stipulated in the agreement was actually intended for the condominium rule. As for the current government, it is its duty to work to create this atmosphere by all possible means, such as granting political parties equal opportunities to promote their principles and programs through radio and other means of dissemination. (4) I do not know much about the details of the current communications between the Sudanese parties, but I hope that the Sudanese will be able to advance their country's cause with understanding and solidarity towards their ultimate goal, which is the full independence of Sudan. (5) As for my opinion on the fate of rule in Sudan, it is that an independent republic with full sovereignty should be established in the country. (6) I advise my Sudanese sons to unite at this decisive stage so that the country can achieve the full freedom and complete independence it aspires to, and so that the Sudanese can manage their affairs in a way that promotes security, tranquility, happiness, and prosperity among all citizens, and so that Sudan can live in amity, brotherhood, and peace with neighboring countries and the rest of the world.
Rebellion in Southern Sudan Led by Imam Abd al-Rahman al-Mahdi, the circumstances that placed them at this decisive stage with courage, patience, and strong determination. This was in favor of the opposition. Despite the inclination for division among its sons, it will meet soon on the demand for independence. The Umma Party was the first political party to issue a strong political statement addressing the people and members of Parliament by declaring independence. This was in February 1954 when Major General Muhammad Najib was removed from power for the first time. It was feared that the political instability in Egypt would lead to political instability in Sudan, which might prevent the Sudanese from self-determination according to the text of the agreement. Imam Abd al-Rahman and the leaders of the party behind him were closely monitoring the political situation with great vigilance and attention, and were making plans to strengthen the independence side and unite Sudan on the issue of independence.
