For he was angry with them, and they made a belt around him and lit a fire in the market. Sayid then threatened them, and ordered them to strike. He then spoke to the people and untied the belt with their words. The next day, Saturday, he sent the Qadi to take the Eid to his house. They took him to his house, and Sayid rode with them to the place where Kahia Ali was killed, ordering them to be killed there. They were three, and one of them fled. It is said that Commander Sayid al-Tazki, along with Commander Sayid bin Mansour and Commander Baba Sayid, killed Kahia Ali bin al-Jism. May God Almighty know best His judgment. On Sunday, the fourteenth of Shawwal, on the date mentioned before, he did not give them repentance until Wednesday, the seventeenth of the mentioned month. They entrusted him with it and struck him with repentance on that day. And Bikar bin al-Fan' Mansour became Kahia for the people of al-Marakshin, and Muhammad Ramadan bin Commander Ahmed Zank was appointed as his deputy. Sayid Muhammad bin Abdullah was appointed to govern the country, and al-Fan' Ti bin Kahia Sayid was the advisor. On the seventh day, they went out riding and parading because of the sedition among them. On the day the Pasha departed for al-Qusiyyah, which was the third day in the evening, it is a customary practice, and the Qadis and the Kawwa attend there on that day. Commander al-Tazki came there on that procession with the Qadis and the Kawwa. The sons of Ali al-Mubarak were filled with resentment in their hearts because of his staying and leaving. Then he returned on the seventh day and came in the procession. When he arrived and entered and greeted the Pasha and sat down, Kahia Bikar and Commander Baba Sayid stood up and went out to her house, leaving him with the Pasha in the consultation. As for the mentioned Commander Sayid, he did not agree to this departure and going to al-Qusiyyah at this time, urgently.
