The water, which is the time of the sea's fullness from the winter season, and a cry rose above the water that day, saying: Then Commander Mansour returned to the road of the village of Amzaa, and settled there and stayed for days, and grew greatly in his guard. The sedition was in Timbuktu between Commander Abd al-Ghaffar and Commander Bahed. Then the honored Sayyid, the Faqih, the Qadi Sayyid Ahmad, son of the Faqih, the Qadi Ibrahim, and those with him from the judges and scholars of the land, sought to reconcile them for the good, and they reconciled on Wednesday, the twenty-third of the month of Rabi' al-Nabawi in that mentioned year. Commander Abd al-Ghaffar reconciled with Commander Bahed and removed himself from the command of Commander Mansour, leaving him there until they all died. Then they met again at the house of Commander Yusuf on Friday, the twenty-fifth of the month, and they also reconciled that day, so that there remained between them no little or much of sedition and enmity. They reconciled with the best reconciliation until God had mercy on them. And on Sunday or Monday, God knows best, the twelfth of Rabi' al-Akhir of it, the Faqih Muhammad al-Amin, son of the Qadi Sayyid Ahmad, may God have mercy on him, died. Amin. And he, may God have mercy on him, was a teacher of the book "Al-Shifa" by Iyad in the Sukri mosque for about three years in Ramadan, and he died at about twenty-nine years of age. And in the month of Jumada al-Ula of it, the ruler Sayyid Muhammad bin al-Tighrasi died, may God have mercy on him. And he died at about thirty-three years of age. And in that month, Mulay bin Mulay al-Kabir bin Abd al-Rahman died, may God have mercy on him. Amin. And his life was exchanged for the bliss of Paradise, and his age that day was twenty-three years. And on the last day of that mentioned month, in the middle of the year one hundred and thirty-six, died Askia al-Mukhtar bin Shams bin Askia Ismail bin Askia Muhammad Ban bin Askia Dawud.
