Export Sudan and Egypt, and what lies between them, are but eternal bonds, not political borders, nor the waters of the Nile River, nor the north and south of the valley. Rather, Sudan is linked to the era of one kinship and one family, where one tribe is partly in Sudan and the other part in Egypt. It is a bond of one blood and one ethnic and historical origin. Hence, what God has joined, no man can separate. That sacred bond that unites the Sudanese with his Egyptian brother cannot be broken, despite all attempts and provocations, and despite all old and new attempts that have been made against the Egyptian-Sudanese connection. All these attempts are undoubtedly a complete failure, because kinship cannot be severed by attempts.

This is what I pointed out through this study on Islam and Arabism in Sudan, clarifying Egypt's other constant role with its Sudanese brethren since the lights of Islam illuminated the lands of Egypt and Sudan. So, will this study be a clarification and explanation for all those who try to undermine Egypt's twin in the south? This is because Egypt has always given and taken, and what Egypt gave to Sudan was the broad opportunity upon which Sudan's Arab-Islamic civilization and culture were built. Is there any dispute about Egypt's role, which is and remains the Qibla of the world, the inhabited part of the earth, the meeting point of East and West, and the convergence of North and South? How then could its ties with Sudan not be strong forever?

Egypt and Sudan, and Sudan is Egypt's destiny. Humanity? All those who look into this study know the true dimension of the twin-like ties between Egypt and Sudan.
