And God Almighty said about the Jews who slandered her with slander, and their disbelief, and their saying about Mary, "a great slander," and their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary," until God Almighty's saying, "But it was made to appear so to them." And God Almighty said regarding Jesus, peace be upon him: "And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel. And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [saying], 'I have come to you with a sign from your Lord...'" until His saying, "and among the righteous." And God Almighty said regarding Zechariah and John and his son, peace be upon them, when he called upon his Lord and He answered him, by His saying: "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication." until His saying, "among the righteous." And God Almighty's saying: "O John, take the Book with strength." And He gave him wisdom while he was a child. The Book referred to is the Torah, and wisdom is prophethood, and "affection from Us and purity." until His saying, "and the Day he is raised alive." Peace from God is security, security for him in the three places in the verse, not for the bearer of the burden. And God Almighty's saying regarding Al-Khidr, peace be upon him: "They found a servant from among Our servants..." until His saying, "knowledge from Us." And God Almighty's saying regarding the angels: "honored, righteous." And God Almighty said: "They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded." And God Almighty said regarding Gabriel when Quraysh doubted the revelation: "Indeed, it is the word of a noble messenger, possessed of strength..." until His saying, "then trustworthy." And God Almighty's saying: "He was taught by one of mighty power." As for the phrase "and peace be upon him," it has a thousand miracles, and it is said to be equal to the number of prophets, one hundred and twenty-four thousand. And what the Great Quran testified to is sufficient for you in His saying: "And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied." And because God Almighty has gathered the means of this world and the hereafter through him, and among them is intercession for the final judgment after the prophets and messengers have been relieved of it, and much follows that is not for me to mention. And the speech concludes with what I have summarized of God Almighty's praise for His prophets, messengers, and angels, peace be upon them. My intention in this was to seek intercession with God through their high status, and that He would facilitate for me through their blessings what I intend and have found, and that He would open for me through their status the opening of the knowing ones, and clarify for me what is hidden and what is ambiguous to me, for He is capable of what He wills and worthy of answering. He is my sufficiency, and the best disposer of affairs. And there is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. So I say, and by God is success:
The History of the Funj Kingdom

King Amara Dunqas founded the city of Sennar, and the city of Argi was founded thirty years before it by Hijazi bin Mu'in. No school of knowledge or Quran was famous in those lands, and it is said that the man was
