And Allah said concerning Abraham, peace be upon him, "And Allah took Abraham as a friend." And Allah said, "Indeed, Abraham was a nation, obedient to His saying, 'And indeed, he will be among the righteous in the hereafter.'" And His saying, "And We granted him Isaac and Jacob as a gift, and We made each of them righteous." And Allah said concerning his son Ishmael that he was true to his word and was a messenger and a prophet. And so on. And Allah praised them all, saying, "And remember Our servant Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the verse," to His saying, "and all of the news." Then He informed of their reward in the Hereafter, that for the righteous there is a beautiful return, to His saying, "for the Day of Reckoning." And Allah said concerning Joseph, peace be upon him, "My Lord, You have given me from dominion, the verse," to His saying, "and join me with the righteous," meaning Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And He informed that Job, peace be upon him, in his supplication, asked to have the affliction removed and his family restored to him. And His saying, "And Job, when he called his Lord," the verse, to His saying, "for the two servants." And His saying, "Indeed, We found him patient, then the servant, indeed, he was obedient." And He informed of Jonah, peace be upon him, when he left in anger with his people, saying, "And remember the man of the fish, when he went off in anger, the verse," to His saying, "Thus do We save the believers." And His saying, "Then We sent him to a hundred thousand," the verse, to His saying, "and We gave them respite for a time." And His saying concerning Moses and his brother Aaron, saying, "And Allah spoke to Moses directly." And His saying, "And We called him from the side of the Mount, the verse," to His saying, "a prophet." And His saying also, "And We bestowed upon Moses and Aaron, the verse," from His saying, "the prophets, the verse," to His saying, "Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good." And His saying concerning Moses, "obedient." And His saying concerning him when his people harmed him, so Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was esteemed in the sight of Allah, and so forth. And Allah said concerning David and his son Solomon, "And We gave to David Solomon. Then the servant, indeed, he was obedient." And His saying, "And We gave him wisdom and dominion. And We bestowed upon David Solomon. And when they judged, and We cast upon his throne a body," to His saying, "among them," and "And We gave him," and "And thus," to His saying, "without account." Then Allah informed of what He prepared for him in the Hereafter, saying, "And indeed, for him is nearness and a beautiful return." And Allah said concerning Jesus and his mother, peace be upon them, "And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and We gave them refuge to a resting place and a spring," which is the land of Sham.
