In an era when all the knowledgeable were submissive to him. The armies and the great men obeyed him. And the lion only begets its like, and And the palm tree only begets its pollinated fruit, and And all his sons are righteous, and the faces of the virtuous live. He passed away, may God have mercy on him, in the year ninety-four after a thousand, and in the year ninety-five Umm Lahm entered. Daf'Allah bin Ali Al-Shayqi was born in the city of Arjhi and took the path of the people from Sheikh Abdullah Al-Khalqi, with permission from Sheikh Daf'Allah, for his father met him and said to him, "Initiate me." He said to him, "I will guide you at the hands of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Khalqi." His father named him Daf'Allah with permission from the Sheikh himself, because the jurist Ali Al-Shafi'i, whenever his wife gave birth to a son, would come to Sheikh Daf'Allah and say to him, "Name him." Daf'Allah, and he would say to him, "No, until this son of yours is born." He said to him, "Name him." He said, "Name him." Daf'Allah said, "The son of Al-Qaimi, in my youth, my head was filled with excess. I am the father of Sheikh Daf'Allah, to the extent that he tied a piece of cloth from the intensity of what was on the turban and bound my head with it." And Daf'Allah said, "Our Sheikh." So my father took me and went with me to his family, overjoyed and returned me to him. I experienced great joy. So he was a superior Sheikh in the path, like his Sheikh Al-Khalqi, by the blessing of Sheikh Daf'Allah, and whoever took from him the path of the people is Taha bin Ammar, and from him the Tariqa branched out.
