Sheikh Dafallah arrived in Suakin. When asked if he had died, he replied, "Trade has declined." When Sheikh Dafallah came from Sheikh Saghirun, he stayed with his cousin Mutafali, son of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Arqi, in Umm Shatiq, Anbara Kairan. His son Nur Al-Masdi, who was his senior wife and mother of his eldest son, and Umm Fatkhah, came to him. Then Sheikh Muhammad, son of Dawud Al-Akhir, came from Hilla Ajib. He brought him the Kakarah, the banners, the robe of Habib Allah Al-Ajmi, his kufiyyah, and the robe of Abdullah Al-Arqi, Umm Karima, in which were written the names of the scholars. He said to him, "This is the dowry. It was presented to me, and I was told that when Dafallah grows up, you should give it to him. When he reached maturity, take your dowry." So he took it and was ordered to have Sheikh Abu Haraz and a place for the mosque and the khalawāt. He built the mosque and settled in Abu Haraz by order of Dawud Al-Akhir. When Sheikh Abdullah Al-Arqi was on his deathbed, he was asked who his successor was. He said, "Dawud." Then Sheikh Dafallah said to Dawud, "You ordered me to stay in this place, and I have studied Tawhid. Send for Sheikh Ali, son of Burri, to take care of the فقراء (poor/students) and come to Dafallah's village in the Holy Land." So Sheikh Ali came with the Tawhid and returned. Then Sheikh Idris said, "Umm Shatiq, Anbara Yibran, Biqdah, on the robe of Al-Mahaj Saeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, says to the son of Dafallah, 'Build a mosque.' So you are Al-Mahaj Saeed." He said, "I am an unbeliever, the Messenger does not help me, I am far from him. I saw the Messenger, peace be upon him, and he ordered me to build the mosque." Seven ships were brought from the ships of Malik Al-Fawaj, because it was the best thing brought to the countryside. The narrator said, "And Allah knows best." The island was in a place known as Ya Kiyu Kiyu. He built the mosque and its roof and endowed it with twelve slaves, six males and six females. He endowed it with agricultural land in Al-Hawi. Twenty-two years old. Know that the Sheikh was ninety-one years old. Twenty-two of them were his youth spent with his relatives, and seventy years were spent teaching knowledge and the Quran, guiding and training disciples. His life was characterized by piety, asceticism, worship, and devotion to Allah Almighty. He did not seek intercession or mediation. He did not enter Sennar until he died, and King Badi, son of Ribat, did not need him. He visited him in Abu Haraz, sought his blessings, and returned. His greatest journey was to visit Sheikh Idris, alive and dead, once every year, which he never missed until his death. His reward was teaching the Quran and knowledge. Many people found solace in his company, and among his disciples, about forty reached the rank of Qutb in knowledge, religion, and righteousness, the known Qutb among the Sufis.
