As soon as he reached him, he released him. Among his morals is his reverence and veneration for the descendants of the ranks, such as the Rakkabiyya and the Mashayikha. If they are wronged by an injustice that befalls them from the oppressors, he says to them, "You are not in need of me," and he frightens the oppressor with the might of their fathers and grandfathers. As for the origin of his path, the foundation is Qadiri, and the ورد (wird - litany/recitation) and morals are Shadhili, for his sheikh is a student of Sheikh Muhammad al-Nasir al-Shadhili. And from the soundness of his path is patience and endurance of harm from relatives and neighbors, for he does not change from them and says, "And I entrust my affair to God. Indeed, God is all-seeing of His servants." Sheikh Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi used to do this. Ibn Ata Allah said in Lata'if al-Munan: He was told that so-and-so insults you, why don't you complain to the ruler? He said, "I do not wish to take revenge on anyone." And from the soundness of his path is refraining from eating with those who abandon prayer, and he forbade his companions from it, and he showed them a miracle in that, saying to them, "Pus and discharge come out of his fingers into the food." So God unveiled the veil for a group of them, and they saw it with their own eyes. And I heard from the jurist Muhammad, son of Haj, and the jurist Amer, son of Abdul Jalil, each of them swore an oath by God that he saw that with his own eyes. Likewise, I heard it from the jurist Abdul Rahman Hatik. And from the soundness of his path is that if someone takes the path from him and has a disease of madness, leprosy, vitiligo, or other, it is immediately removed from them by his blessing. And in this regard, Al-Busiri, the author of Burdat al-Madīḥ, praises Sheikh Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi, may God have mercy on him.

"How blessed is Wednesday, your Eid is like Thursday. All the connections of the happy are happy, equivalent to the trinity and the sextet."

And from the soundness of his path is his command to his disciples to perform dhikr and wird after prayers. And among the common people: the jurist Abdul Dafe', the jurist Dhaif Allah, the jurist Muhammad, son of Anas, the jurist Hasab al-Nabi, son of Bahr, the jurist Bishara Abu Seifa Aoud, the jurist Abdul Mahmoud bin Abdul Hamid, the jurist Musa, the jurist Al-Nur, son of Ubaid, the jurist Amer bin Abdul Jalil, the jurist Idris bin Nassar, and the jurist.
