I met two travelers wearing cloaks, and they told me, "Tell Sheikh Idris that your brothers Abd al-Samad and Abd al-Ahad send you their greetings. Give him this gift and tell him, 'We have come from Hijaz; do not forget us.'" When Sheikh Idris was informed of this, he said, "They do not need to be appointed, as they are the ministers of the Qutb. If I had two sons, I would name one Abd al-Samad and the other Abd al-Ahad." He then had sons and named them as such, and they became the ministers of the Sultanate.
Among his prophecies was his statement to Sheikh Dafallah when he asked about the kings of the Fung: "Will there be kings of the Fung after Ribat al-Malik?" He replied, "The last of them will be Malik Awl, whose name is Badi." (1) His reign is known. (1) He likely means Badi. And God knows best.
(2 and 3 and 4) The area of Nubia belongs to the Bura district, Kordofan province. And the painted church is in the Delenj district in Kordofan, and it is painted with colors of paint and dye. (5) Al-Jadid consists of three places on the west bank of the Blue Nile, belonging to the Al-Kamilin district, Madani province: Al-Jadid Umar, Al-Jadid Khalif, and Al-Jadid Al-Shaqlah. It is a village from the settlement of Al-Awj Al-Darb. And God knows best.

Among his prophecies was his statement that the land of the West is ruled by Saraya Fur from Al-Haraza (2), then by Al-Kanisa Al-Raqta' (3), and in one narration, by Al-Tur'ah Al-Khadra' (4). And it happened as he said.
Among his prophecies was his statement to Hamad, son of Abd al-Jalil, when he asked him, "Give me a slave, where should I look for him?" He said, "I have suffered from urinary incontinence, and I ate the abscess of the house of Abu Jabal. Since then, the things I used to see have diminished." At that moment, I saw a sign in the air, and I looked for your slave in the direction of Al-Sa'id. He looked for him and found him in Al-Jadid (5), which is a well-known place.
Among his prophecies was his statement to Sheikh Ajib when he consulted him about the war with the Fung and said to him, "They have changed our customs." He said to him, "Do not fight them, for they will kill you and rule your descendants until the Day of Resurrection." And it happened as he said.
Among his prophecies was his statement to King Badi Abu Ribat when he came with Sayyid Qawm, King Adlan, and Ladhabah, seeking him. Sheikh Ajib and Badi, the aforementioned, were disciples of Sheikh Idris. He asked him about his situation and said to him, "You will kill Sheikh Ajib and defeat him. If you return to your place of rule, the kingship will be in your descendants after you." And it happened as he said. Five of them ruled: Ribat, his son Badi, Awans, son of Nasir, his son Badi, and his son Awans. Their reign lasted one hundred and twenty years.
Among his prophecies was his statement that the kingship of the Fung will disappear, and the reason for that is that they will fight among themselves and divide into two factions, and each faction will fight the other until their kingdom is lost. And among his prophecies are those that have occurred and those that are expected to occur.
Abu al-Hasan is Dafallah, son of the renowned jurist Dhaif Allah. He memorized the Quran from Jurist Abd al-Dafi', Tawhid, and Mukhtasar Khalil from his father, along with the science of inheritance. He became proficient in the science of Fara'id, as well as Mukhtasar Khalil. He was pious, intelligent, and adhered to seclusion after his father's death. He was a night worshipper and a day faster, constantly engaged in the remembrance of God. He would send blessings upon the Prophet on God every night forty thousand times, and during the day eighteen thousand times. Whenever he completed one hundred, he would perform voluntary prayers afterwards. He was preoccupied with his own affairs and had no need of anyone. He kept his secrets, and ate whatever he received from the bounty of his Lord. Al-Shadhili said, "Our honor is steadfastness with God, and it is..."
