And secondly: what he practiced from experience in moving with the knowledge and religion he acquired and comprehended. To make it a guide in the reality of the life of the Moroccan society, as he saw a pattern deviating from the truth in that. So he laid the alternative on three harmonious and integrated pillars: a vision of life, creed, and a legitimate political system based on the unity of God. And some of the errors and shortcomings that occurred in the actions of the Mahdi during his rise in the movement of change. We have focused our attention in studying this man on the intellectual and scientific aspect, which was based on a fundamental doctrinal structure that was his main concern in theorizing, explaining, and inferring, in order to establish on its basis his complete plan for preaching and reform. Therefore, we have dedicated the essence of this treatise to elaborating on Ibn Tumart's opinions in a middle chapter, preceded by a first chapter on the details of his life, and followed by a third chapter on the details of the impact of those opinions in the Maghreb. We have divided the first chapter into two parts, the first of which is to present the features of his life before his journey to the East, analyzing the conditions of the Moroccan environment in its political, intellectual, and cultural aspects, with the aim of clarifying the role of this environment in shaping Ibn Tumart's personality. The second chapter details his journey to the East to seek knowledge, explaining the great importance of that journey in his life, as it shaped the distinctive features of his personality. He benefited from knowledge acquired from the most famous scholars of that era, and he carried with him information about the political, cultural, and social conditions of the Islamic society. We have dedicated the third chapter to elaborating on his revolutionary activity when he returned to his country.
