| The decisive word concerning the case of Imam Al-Mahdi | 48 | And he also said: "Is it possible for the Umayyad state to be corrected by its own efforts? And if the Abbasid state was corrected by the efforts of the people, it would be said: 'We have lied to ourselves.' But if they persisted in their efforts, and if the correction did not happen, it would be better for them to be removed from their masters, and to be replaced by others. This is what is meant by the 'efforts' of the people. As for Al-Mahdi, his efforts are to be removed and his trace is to be removed. His efforts are a vessel and a container for him.
From Ibn Al-Mubarak, from his father, that his father said to the Prophet, peace be upon him: "What is your effort?" He said: "My effort is to strive." He said: "You are striving." He said: "I am striving." Ibn Al-Mubarak said: "So the effort remained with us after that."
If the effort was removed by its own efforts, then the Prophet, peace be upon him, would have tried to correct himself! And if the effort is removed, then what is the benefit of saying: "Sa'id bin Al-Mubarak and the followers of the Tabi'in said: 'The effort remained with us after that!'"?
We see that if the efforts are removed and their trace is removed, then why did the Prophet, peace be upon him, correct the companions?
And Uwayaf bin Surad bin 'Abid Al-Zahra'i, his father was a companion, and the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, sent to him, and said to him: "What is your effort?" He said: "Uwayaf bin Surad." So the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said to him: "You are Rashid bin 'Ad." And Bishr bin Al-Hasan Al-Dusi, his father was a companion, so the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said to him: "You are Bishr." And he returned to Ibn 'Amr bin Al-'As, and he returned to Ibn 'Amr bin Al-Khattab. His father was Al-'As, so the Prophet, peace be upon him, corrected him and said: "You are 'Ad bin 'Amr." He said: "And we have returned to our efforts." And Al-Rabi' bin Khaythama, his father was 'Ad Al-Kha'ah, so the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, corrected his father and his efforts, and returned to Al-Rabi'. And Abu Bakr Al-Hadiq, his father was a companion, 'Ad Al-Kha'ah, so the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, sent to him and said: "Abu Bakr."
This is what is found in the book "Al-Istia'ab", but the knowledge of the companions is found in the book "Usd Al-Ghabah" and the book "Al-Isabah".
Do you think that the names Abu Bakr and Al-Rabi' bin Khaythama are still considered 'Ad Al-Kha'ah by the people? Especially since the names Abu Bakr and 'Amr were not corrected (3) for three years, and (12) twelve years.
