The decisive statement regarding the case of Imam Al-Mahdi.
38 In that regard, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I do not know what will be done with him." Ibn Kathir said: "Al-Bukhari alone narrated it, and his wording was: 'I do not know what will be done with him.'"
This indicates that it is a matter of opinion, not a definitive statement from Al-Bukhari.
This statement from Ibn Kathir, a scholar with deep roots in Hadith, indicates that this matter was unknown to Al-Bukhari. So, how can it be attributed to him?
I will mention other examples from the two Sahihs, if God wills. Or examples that contradict the "true" Hadith of the people who want to weaken Hadiths and claim that Sahih Al-Bukhari is not authentic!
The case of Al-Ulay is a divine and true matter!
Therefore, when Al-Yaman said: "Are we the oppressors or are they?"
'Adiy bin 'Umayrah replied: "No, by God."
Al-Yaman then said: "Then we are the oppressors. Listen, those who oppress will be oppressed."
'Adiy then said: "If I live to see that, I will be with Al-Yaman, and may God's prayers be upon him."
'Adiy bin 'Umayrah said: "And may God's prayers be upon him." This is a known statement that "oppression" and "exaltation" are against him, meaning killing.
And "prayer" is its literal meaning. This supports the saying: "Then they will bring him and kill him." So, look how the narrations agree!
And he cried out, contradicting its authenticity, then he fought him, and then he turned his face away from seeing him.
But... as long as the first part of the narration has been fulfilled, we await the fulfillment of the rest of the narration of Al-Yaman and the killing of Al-Mahdi.
The narration says: "Until he reaches him from it, and Al-Yaman will be in his face - meaning Ahmad - and Al-Yaman will be in Al-Yaman, then they will bring him and kill him, and they will kill him - meaning Al-Yaman - from Quraish, and he will be called Al-Mahdi!"
