The definitive statement regarding the Imam Al-Mahdi affair.

It is perceived by some as opposition, and by others as a betrayal by the leaders! And however much one tries to correct this erroneous, corrupt, and oppressive structure, the justice of God and His might are a deterrent.

For the transgressors, their punishment is not far off. As He, the Almighty, says: "And if they intended to leave, they would have prepared for it, but God disliked their being sent, so He made them lag behind, and it was said, 'Sit with those who sit.'" (85) And the justice of God is that the transgressors, from among the people of the earth, have committed transgressions, and their punishment is that they will be expelled from their land, and they will be driven out of it. As He, the Almighty, says: "And those who disbelieved would say to their messengers, 'We will surely expel you from our land, or you will return to our religion.' So their Lord inspired them, 'We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.'" (86) And similarly, He said about the disbelievers from the people of Shu'ayb, peace be upon him: "'We will surely expel you, O Shu'ayb, and those who believe with you from our city, or you must return to our religion.'" (87) The punishment was of the same kind. As He, the Almighty, says: "So the earthquake seized them, and they became in their homeland fallen prostrate." (88) And when the disbelievers sought to expel the believers from their land, and they were driven out of it according to the divine decree, then it was inevitable that their leader would be struck by the sting of humiliation and the bitterness of expulsion. (And) "It is not for anyone to be killed except by permission of God." (89)
