| The Authoritative Statement Regarding the Case of Imam Al-Mahdi | 03 |
Ibn 'Umar said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned: "May Allah grant us Yemen, may Allah grant us Yemen." He said: "O Allah, grant us Yemen, grant us Yemen." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, send us to Yemen." He said: "There is the *zakat* and the *fath*, and through them the *Shaytan* is repelled."
Then the people of Sa'd from Rabi'ah came, and they were Bedouins. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "And whoever is a Bedouin, then he is a Bedouin."
And for this reason, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade the Bedouins from leading the prayer, saying: "No prayer is accepted from a Bedouin who leads it." As for the people of Sa'd, they were the most knowledgeable and understanding. Allah Almighty said: And it is not for the believers to go forth all together; but there should go forth from each division of them a group [that they] may gain knowledge in religion and warn their people when they return to them that they may be cautious. .
Then the people of Sa'd came to their Bedouinism and their ignorance. Their noble ancestor, Al-Muttalib, was the one who said: Nay, but man transgresses all bounds, Because he sees himself self-sufficient. . And the poor, destitute people turned to the noble ones, revealing the character of the believer. The poet said:
When the world was in its prime, and you were in its midst, Then you revealed what was hidden from you.
And I will send to you my brother, If he were to be with the poor.
Rabi'ah bin 'Amr Al-Qal'i said: َوَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الْبُغَاةَ الْعُرَاةَ الْحَيَاةَ الْفَاكِهَا مُلُوكَ الْأَرْضِ فَذَاكَ مِنْ أَشْرَالِهَا، وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ رِعَاءَ الْغَنَمِ يَتَطَاوَلُونَ فِي سَنَامِ الْأَعْنَاقِ فَذَاكَ مِنْ أَشْرَالِهَا "And when you see the transgressors, the naked, the living, the joyful, the kings of the earth, then that is from its nobles. And when you see the shepherds of sheep stretching their necks, then that is from its nobles."
Then the Messenger of Allah stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, who are these people you mentioned?" He said: "The Arabs."
The people of Sa'd have become the rulers of the earth. And whoever sees the kings of the earth and sees the rare eloquence and the captivating beauty, especially the noble lineage of 'Abd Allah bin 'Abd Al-'Aziz, sees the precision.
