The Glorious Saying Regarding the Doubt in the Case of Imam Al-Mahdi

The Third Chapter: This occurred in the twenties of the last century. The Banu Hanifa knew their daughters were married to Rabi'a, and sometimes they married their daughters to Banu Umayya, especially Mu'awiya bin Yazid, as it is written in their books. When they finished with Rabi'a, the sedition of Rabi'a appeared, starting with the appearance of Musaylimah the Liar among them. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq suppressed their sedition, killing many of them and aiding those who were with them. Then some of them appeared in Iraq during the reign of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab. Harithah bin Muḍrib said: "I was with 'Abd Allah bin Ma'mar Al-Sadafi, and we were in the market. 'Abd Allah stood up and praised Allah, then said: 'Indeed, the time of trial has come, and no one has escaped it except those who are protected by Allah. I was afraid of the Banu Hanifa, so I went to 'Abd Allah bin Mu'ammar bin Al-Nāṭiḥ. He testified that 'Abd Allah was a messenger of Allah, and that Musaylimah was a messenger of Allah. I denied his claim and restrained his horse until he admitted. Then 'Abd Allah bin Ma'mar said: 'Indeed, 'Abd Allah bin Mu'ammar bin Al-Nāṭiḥ.' So he was brought. 'Abd Allah asked him: 'Where is the Quran you used to recite?' He said: 'I used to conceal it.' He said: 'Repent.' He repented. Then he passed by him, and he was thrown into the fire. Shaykh Abu Zarah Al-Bajari said: "One of the greatest matters that motivated them to revolt was what they believed: that they were the Banu Quraysh, who had seized the Caliphate and taken it from the people. The evidence for this is that most of the tribal conflicts that occurred between them and the Mudari tribes were against the Umayyads, who had stripped Islam of its strength and had not yet been able to fully restore it. However, a strong remnant remained within them."
