Takfir (declaring someone an infidel) for an act of kufr (disbelief) attributed to someone who claims to be Muslim is purely a jurisprudential matter. It varies in clarity and ambiguity, just like other jurisprudential matters. The coerced person is excused and it is not permissible to declare them an infidel. As for one whose consciousness is absent due to intoxication, magic, mental illness, or severe sickness, it is not permissible to declare them an infidel. Similarly, a child who has not reached the age of discernment or an insane person are also not to be declared infidels. Furthermore, each of these categories requires a jurist to clarify and define them. 3. The fact that a Muslim who is ignorant of the rulings of apostasy is not declared an infidel for committing an act of kufr attributed to someone who claims to be Muslim does not mean that one approves of or supports their blasphemous act, or that one assists or allies with them in it. Rather, for their Islam to be valid, it is a condition that they disavow, detest, and deny the kufr that this person is upon, even if they are ignorant of its legal ruling. Disavowal, detestation, and denial of the act of kufr is one thing, and ignorance of the ruling concerning the perpetrator of this kufr is another.
