Chapter Two: The Attribute of Disbelief in Taghut
Know, my beloved brother, that the attribute of (disbelief in Taghut) must have its meaning precisely defined in accordance with language and Sharia, otherwise you will fall into the disbelief of Muslims without any Sharia evidence.
We must first know that whoever attributes himself to Islam and falls into Shirk (associating partners with Allah) becomes an apostate by that, and we seek refuge in Allah. Ignorance is not an excuse in Shirk with Allah, because knowledge is one of the conditions of the testimony that there is no god but Allah. And whoever does not fulfill the condition of knowledge, his Islam is not valid. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever disputes with Allah after it has been accepted from him - his argument is invalid with his Lord, and upon him is [the] wrath, and for him is a severe punishment." [Surah Al-Baqarah: 571].
But those who exaggerate in disbelief did not adhere to the limits of Sharia, nor did they stop at this limit that Allah has prescribed for us. Rather, they say: * Whoever falls into Shirk with Allah, we disbelieve him (and this is correct). * And whoever does not disbelieve this person, or hesitates to disbelieve him, or excuses him due to ignorance or interpretation, we also disbelieve him (and this is false). They equate the doer of Shirk with one who excuses him due to ignorance.
The doubt that led them to say this corrupt statement is their failure to differentiate between disbelief in Taghut and disbelieving Taghut. They think that disbelief in Taghut is not achieved except by disbelieving Taghut.
