She was reassured by this and began to send him news of the Sultan. When the Sultan, Tibrab, became seriously ill, his son Ishaq al-Khalifa was concerned. He summoned Amin Ali, Jami' Sayyid Muhammad Kara, Amin Hasballah Jiran, Amin Ibrahim wad Ramad, and Sheikh Abdullah Jina, and another Amin whose name I have forgotten. He said, "Do for me a favor, and I hope you will reciprocate by carrying out the will I am about to entrust to you." They replied, "We hear and obey." He said to Amin Ali, "I entrust you, when I die, to gather all the soldiers under your command and deliver them to Ishaq, my son in Darfur." He replied, "We hear and obey." He said to Amin Hasballah, "I have made you the custodian of my treasury. When I die, deliver it to my son." He replied, "We hear and obey." He said to Amin Ibrahim wad Ramad, "I have made you the custodian of my lands and horses. When I die, deliver them to my son in Darfur." He said to Al-Ab, "I have entrusted you with my livestock and servants. When I die, deliver them to my son." He said to the other, "I have made you the custodian of my weapons and clothing. When I die, deliver them to my son." They accepted this from him with hearing and obedience and prayed for his long life.
