At a time when the area occupied by sects grew – and it was not built on false religious sheikhdom or the leadership turban instilled by the colonizer's hands – Al-Bushri Al-Mudathir was one of the most influenced by the call for Islamic revival and a return to complete Islam. This call, which emanated from the mouth of Jamal al-Din al-Afghani in Egypt. Al-Bushri, the father of Al-Mudathir Al-Bushri, was one of the professor's devoted disciples. When Al-Bushri returned to Sudan, he brought this idea with him, bright and not weakened. His son Al-Mudathir nurtured it and taught it to him. Therefore, he presented a clear Islamic vision for a wavering renaissance. Thus, his attempts to confront colonialism were not merely a form of national struggle, but rather a genuine direction and current towards guiding the nation towards its morals, characteristics, mission, and call.

Al-Mudathir Al-Bushri's poetry, words, and writings all led and expressed this meaning. We believe that Al-Mudathir Al-Bushri has important views on the history of the national movement that deserve study and consideration. He believed that the "Syrian Union Society," which some considered him a member of, was superstition and falsehood, and he strongly called for linking the national movement with Islam at a time when secularism was fiercely imposing its falsehoods on political leadership. He declared his contempt for the class and his hatred for its connection with continuous power. He was also a religious scholar who debated, struggled, and confronted politicians, wearing his turban and wrapped in his robes. He was clear and explicit in his sermons and letters, and his poems were a mass of fire.

The importance of Al-Mudathir Al-Bushri is highlighted in the pioneering role he played at one time and his emergence as a student political leadership that mobilized the masses and had a profound impact on the subsequent political developments the country went through. We believe his movement had the greatest impact on the major movements that encompassed the country, including the 1924 movement.
