The Amir then gave away one hundred thousand dinars from that wealth in the Two Holy Cities, and bought gardens in the Illuminated City, and endowed them for the people of Takrur, which is well-known there. And he bought goods and all that was needed for one hundred thousand. And the blessed Sharif Al-Abbasi was in that land, and he asked him to make him his deputy in the land of Sitti. So he agreed to that for him, and he commanded him to stay in his province for three days and come to him on the fourth day. So he did, and he made him his deputy, and placed a cap and a turban from himself on his head. So he was a complete deputy in Islam. Then he met many scholars and righteous men, including Al-Jalal Al-Suyuti, may God have mercy on him. And he asked them about some of his affairs, and they advised him, and he asked them for prayers, and he received many of their blessings. And he returned in the third year and entered Mecca in Dhu al-Hijjah, completing the year. So God Almighty reformed his kingdom and granted him a mighty victory, and opened for him a clear victory.
