- 64 -It is said to have occurred in the month of Rabīʿ al-Nabawī in the year 115 AH. He remained there for two months and was dismissed. During his tenure, in that year, the strife between the Barāʾ occurred. They fought each other from their side towards Nabkat Akmār, and they drove each other out until they entered the city. This happened in the mentioned month, Rabīʿ al-Nabawī, from the seventh day of the birth, which is the birth of the Great One, the eighteenth of it. It is said that his dismissal was in Jumādā al-ʾŪlā of that mentioned year. Then they remained for four months, and no one took charge.

Saʿīd ibn Būziyān al-Majāz al-Amṭī took charge after the dismissal of Commander ʿAbd Allāh al-Tilimsānī in the month of Rabīʿ al-ʾĀkhir in the year 117 AH. He remained there for about three months and was dismissed in the month of Jumādā al-ʾĀkhirah of that mentioned year.

Saʿīd ibn Commander ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Zarkīrqī took charge after the dismissal of his elder nephew, Commander Muḥammad ibn Commander Ḥamd ibn ʿAlī, on Saturday, the twentieth of Dhu al-Ḥijjah al-Ḥarām, at the end of the year 1147 AH. He was the ruler on the day of his appointment. He appointed Rāyiḥ ibn Commander ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Ḥājj al-ʿIrāqī as his deputy. He called upon the Muslims and imposed six hundred *maqāl* on them, taking them as a white deposit, amounting to twelve hundred thousand deposits. Then he was dismissed on Saturday, the eleventh of the month of Rabīʿ al-Khayr, in the year 1148 AH. His tenure there was fifty-two days, and nothing moved in his authority except this mentioned imposition. Then he returned him after the dismissal of Commander Ḥamd ibn Commander Sayr ibn Manṣūr on Monday, the twenty-second of Rabīʿ al-Khayr in the year 1149 AH. On Saturday, the twelfth of the month of Rabīʿ al-Nabawī of that year, a group of Arabs from the ʿĀṣirī tribe marched towards Arārūn. Then the others from their opponents followed them at their heels to catch them and kill them. Pasha Saʿīd, the mentioned one, heard this.
