and his brother Abd al-Qadir, sons of the commander Yusuf bin Abd Allah al-Dar'i, and Abd al-Aziz bin al-Kahhi Sayyid al-Hadaji, and one from the people of the Great Mosque, Mahmud bin Babakhi Uthman bin Baba, and two from the Haratin, sons of the Pasha Mansur, and others whom I do not know. Let us return to complete the account from the time the archers of Binb and the son of the commander Sunir, mentioned above, set out. Qadir set out with the archers of Binb to Tawarq Tadmukt to fight, and the aforementioned Hadd was in front of them. They fought in a place called Agandal. When they met, the aforementioned Hadd attacked them, and he saw himself as a shield until he was immersed, and the Haratin supported him and shot at him all together, but he did not stir. Then Tadmukt defeated them and killed them severely, almost annihilating them. All this killing was done by the archers and the Sudanese. They killed the prominent men of Binb's army that day, such as the commander Ahmad bin the commander Babakdag, and those who followed him among the commanders and the Kawahis, and they defeated Binb. They killed that day also from the descendants of Fatima bint Ali, who was one of the men of Hadd bin the commander Sunir. As for the Tawarq, the sons of Al-N, they did not stand to fight, but rather turned and fled, throwing their horses into the sea. That water saved them as they fled. Some escaped and were saved, and some entered the water and stayed there until the land was firm and those behind them reached them and killed them. Only a few survived from Binb's army. The Pasha was dismissed in the month of Jumada al-Ula in the year thirty-nine and one thousand hundred, and his dismissal was at the end of the month. His tenure was four months and thirteen days.
