The Dinka, who are the most numerous of the tribes, are divided into two main groups: the "Ngok" and the "Thoi". The Ngok are found in the north, and the Thoi in the south. The Dinka are a pastoral people, and their lives are closely tied to their cattle. They are also skilled farmers, and they grow a variety of crops, including sorghum, millet, and maize.
