And the tribe of Abdullah was accused of all that, with deception, blame, and ingratitude. So Nasr Allah carried away everything that his happy palace contained, of wealth, women, servants, possessions, clothes, and horses, beyond reckoning and comprehension, and beyond what the narrator could believe. He set out with the tribe of the wealthy and their dreams, and all of Bani Amer, from the exalted presence, eastward on Wednesday, the fourteenth of Muharram. They descended to the plain and stayed there for eight days. On Sunday, the twenty-fifth of Muharram, the King of the Maghreb entered. He dressed and ordered his vizier, Abu Bakr bin Qari' bin Al-Kaser, with all his tribe, and brought forth Umm Al-Mahdud, and all their Arabs who were gathered in Marra, Tanbat, Al-Arida, Awlad Hussein, Al-Mahalij, Al-Khazaj, Bani Ya'qub, and Suwayd, in pursuit of the Commander of the Faithful. So Allah departed from the plain, not seeing any reason to delay. Then all the lands turned away from him, Togeen and Bani Rasir, except for men of patience and steadfastness. So he descended to Wadi Dark in the lands of Al-Ataf. Then he chose from there towards the sheep passes and descended to Sabkhat Ragiz and stayed there for two days. His scouts informed him of the enemy nearby. So he departed eastward. **I said:** And from here, may Allah guide him, he parted from me due to melancholy thoughts that overcame me, and satanic whispers against my people and their wickedness.
