He was in Halba, Badati, Qal'at Sistana, Lilaba, Qal'at Babha, and Khalla. He surveyed it, then returned. Ibrahim Al-Sharif was then dismissed, a truce was reached on the 7th of Jumada al-Thani, year 1114 AH, and he was sent to the المستنيي and مداركت. Regarding the orders of Ibrahim Al-Sharif, Bay Bay, then after that in year 1115 AH, the Ottoman decree arrived for the position of Pasha, making Ibrahim Al-Sharif Pasha. Bay Bay, then he set out for the winter campaign in year 1115 AH. He arrived at Jiblain Ayasha, and they confronted him on the mountain. He captured them. He descended upon Qairawan and ordered its people to rebuild it and repair what had been damaged, and to inhabit it. He remained in the fortress from that year. Ahmad bin Rajab bin Sulayman Bay bin Ramadan Bay Musa Murad Bay Al-Mutqajja', mentioned above, revolted against him. Numerous Arab forces gathered against him, amounting to thirty thousand fighters, under the command of Jalal bin Al-Mas'i Al-Rizqi, and another, Abdullah Ra'yafa. And he took their wealth from Al-'Ajaba Al-Azkuwa. He went out to meet him, Ibrahim Al-Shaybi, on the 4th of Muharram, year 1115 AH, with twelve thousand cavalry and men. Ahmad bin Sulayman was stationed at Al-Sargis with the intention of confronting him. A detachment of Ibrahim Al-Sharif's forces attacked Ahmad bin Sulayman, and he departed from Al-Sargis. He descended upon the land of Jandouba. Ibrahim Al-Sharif pursued him and raised the banner on Sunday, the 11th of Shawwal. The defeat was upon Ahmad bin Sulayman, and many of his army were killed in the battle. His forces scattered, and he fled towards the region of Qairawan. Ibrahim Al-Sharif took control of it after sending his army to its borders and securing its surrounding areas. Before that, Ahmad bin Sulayman had been in control. They had planned to ambush him. When he arrived at the time of the battle, they killed Jalal bin Al-Mas'i, and Ahmad bin Sulayman fled. His command ended, and his influence faded. He had no further influence. He sent the head of Jalal to Tunis, along with Ibrahim Al-Sharif, to Jabal Hami. Yeeh.
