He took a stick and beat him severely, and Al-Hajj Khujili said, "If he had not been patient, he would have died immediately." And among the praises of those who knew him, Sheikh Hamad bin Al-Turabi said, "O Allah, save me by the blessing of the son of Umm Maryam, for he is a servant of Allah, not out of fear of His fire nor out of greed for His paradise." And Sheikh Ahmed bin Al-Turaif Al-Atni said, "If Al-Atni were by deeds, we would be in the island, and none of us would have served Allah as the son of Umm Maryam served Him." And Sayyid bin Duleib said, "I only likened him to Umar bin Al-Khattab." He passed away, may Allah be pleased with him, in the year two and forty after one thousand and one hundred, at the age of eighty-seven years. His sons Muhammad Al-Nour, Muhammad Al-Maqbul, and Muhammad Al-Shafi' followed in his footsteps in religion, righteousness, humility, and bearing burdens, and in enjoining good and forbidding evil, and their brothers were like them.
Hamad bin Abdul Rahim, known as Khatik Al-Mahsi Al-Mushrif, was born in Khartoum and began his study of Tawhid under Al-Faki Arbab, and studied Fiqh in Khalil under the Faqih Muhammad Al-Azraq, son of Sheikh Al-Zein. He had a long experience in issuing fatwas and resolving problems. He was buried in Abu Nujaylah.
Hamadna Allah bin Malak was born in Khartoum and studied Tawhid under the sons of Arbab, and followed the Tariqa under Sheikh Khujili. Sheikh Abu Al-Hasan Al-Shadhili said, "One uprightness is better than a thousand miracles." His sons Muhammad, Muhammadin, and Al-Ithnain followed in their father's footsteps in religion, righteousness, and uprightness.

He passed away in Abu Haraz, and he had a settlement above the river known by his name.
Hamil Al-Layyin, Abu Al-Fiqh, Sulaiman bin Sheikh Hamed, studied Kalam under Maski Al-Najwi and studied Fiqh under Sheikh Al-Zein. He was a man of much singing, and yet it increased his knowledge and his body. He occupied himself with teaching the Risalah and collecting books, and he was the first to bring the explanation of Abdul Baqi on Khalil to Sudan and Al-Shabrakhiti on Al-Ashmawiya. He had a friendship with my father. I said to him, "People say that Fiqh has four and three married women." He said to me, "It is true, but my children took the women and separated them from me." And Maski bin
