Muhammad, son of Haj, and the faqih Muhammad bin Abd al-Latif, and the faqih Uthman al-Hilali, and a large group whose mention would be too long. These mentioned individuals were guided by his guidance and followed his path. We have seen one of them, if he were to die of hunger, he would not eat with someone who abandons prayer, nor would he abandon congregational prayer and the sunnah prayers. After the prayers and the remembrance of the morning and evening, they would not leave the prayer gathering until they finished them. May God have mercy on all of them and benefit us through their blessings in this world and the hereafter.

The Third Consideration: They followed him and took him as an imam, and they agreed on his method and consultation, and sought his help in important matters. Among these is that when the irrigation canals of al-Hams in Tuni, after the harvest, did not reach the human chest, an island of sand appeared, separating the water from the canals. So al-Hams came and placed before him the oars, the buckets, and the axes, and said to him, "We cannot remain in this land after our crops have been ruined due to lack of water." So he rose with them, rode on a donkey, placed his staff in the sea, and said, "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O Sheikh Ahmad bin al-Nasir," and he recited Hizb al-Bahr. The sea became turbulent, and that island disappeared, and the sea filled the farthest canals, and the people remained in their places by his blessing. This miracle has remained until this time of ours, the year nineteen hundred and twenty, and his staff was made of iron. When it was placed in a place where water was scarce, the sand would recede and water would immediately surge forth. Among these is that a man came and said, "My lord, I have come to visit you with a load of salt, and it was tossed into the sea." He said, "We are in great need of it. Go to the place where it sank and search for it." The man returned to the place, dived into the sea, and found the salt as it was, and the load was intact. Among these is that the faqih Abd al-Nafi' and the poor came to him for the prayer of the Forty, which is a famous prayer for him, to which people gather from the tenth of Sha'ban until the end of Ramadan. One day they went to serve the Sheikh's crops. His house and their boat were by the sea. They sailed to the crops after they finished their service. It was said that at the noon prayer, they returned and asked for the boat, but they did not find it, as it was on the eastern shore, and there was no one there. The Sheikh needed their presence for the noon prayer, and he looked towards them. He threw his staff, took the boat, and it was stolen to them on the west of the sea. They entered it and sailed to the Sheikh, and found him ready for the noon prayer. This miracle is famous. Among them is that Fatima bint Eid fell gravely ill, and was on the verge of death. The faqih al-Nur came.
