Conclusion: The essence of the foregoing is that the personality of Shu'ayb ibn Salih is a real personality, contrary to the suspicion of some hadith scholars, especially Nu'aym ibn Hammad. And from those who reject the traditions, it is sufficient that this personality emerges with the emergence of the Mahdi, so that we consider what is mentioned about him to be sound in its text, and it is not required that everything that preceded it matches, especially what came about his birth or his lineage. And it is permissible, according to the opinion of many scholars, that his name and his physical characteristics are correct, and God knows best.
