A notification. The land will be filled with justice as it was filled with injustice, then a Qahtani will be appointed, and by Him who sent me with truth, it is no less than that.

And from Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, may Allah be pleased with them both, And in it: "Then there will be commanders of the 'Usab, six of them from the descendants of Ka'b bin Lu'ayy, and a man from Qahtan, all of them righteous, the like of whom is not seen."

I say: The last commander of the Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, is Al-Mahdi, as mentioned in the narrations, and he is the one who will hand it over to Jesus. ... From Arta'ah, he said: "Then a man from the Prophet's household will emerge, a Mahdi, good in biography, who will conquer the city of Caesar, and he is the last commander of the Ummah of Muhammad. Then the Dajjal will emerge in his time, and Jesus, son of Mary, will descend in his time." And from Arta'ah, he said: "At the hands of that Yemeni caliph, Constantinople and Rome will be conquered. The Dajjal will emerge in his time, and Jesus, son of Mary, will descend in his time."

As for this Qahtani, he might be his special minister. Al-Albani said: The word "then he will be appointed" means he will represent him in some of his affairs. As for the six commanders from the descendants of Ka'b bin Lu'ayy and a man from Qahtan, who are the commanders of the 'Usab, it has been narrated that the commander of the 'Usab is Al-Mahdi. From Arta'ah, he said: "The commander of the 'Usab is Yemeni." From Arta'ah, he said: "The commander of the 'Usab is not from Dhi Wal and Dhu, but they hear a voice, neither human nor jinn, and they pledge allegiance to him by his name. He is not from Dhi Wal and Dhu, but he is a Yemeni caliph." Al-Walid said: And in the knowledge of Ka'b, he is a Yemeni Qurashi, and he is the commander of the 'Usab, and the 'Usab are the people of Yemen. And he is the caliph, and it is as if they are his governors over the provinces during his caliphate. And this Qahtani is like them, but he is the most specialized of them in command, because he is like Al-Mahdi. And perhaps he is the greatest precursor to Al-Mahdi, which is why he was in the position of Al-Mahdi. And some narrations call him Al-Yamani, and Allah knows best.
