The images captured by the observatory show that this hand extends towards the East, where the appearance of the Mahdi is expected. This perfectly aligns with the description in the noble hadiths, with the wording: "a hand pointing" and "a hand appears from the sky pointing."

It is attributed to Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: "And the Mahdi will have a clear sign from the sky and a similar one on earth... in the plain, a hand pointing with five."
