The verse number marking the beginning of the fulfillment of the promise from Surah Ibrahim is 47; and the order number of Surah Ibrahim in the Quran is 14; if we align these two numbers side by side from right to left, we will get the number 1447; which is the same Hijri year we mentioned that the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, will occur in, by the will of Allah Almighty.

4. His saying, the Almighty, in the verse marking the beginning of the fulfillment of the promise: "Indeed, the Exalted in Might is the Avenger." [Quran 14:42] This indicates the beginning of Allah Almighty's vengeance upon those who disbelieved in Him and His messengers. Therefore, this vengeance is the practical manifestation of Allah Almighty's promise to Jesus, peace be upon him, which is exemplified in the severe punishment of those who disbelieved, a severe punishment in this world before the Hereafter.

Allah Almighty said in Surah Al-Isra: "And if We had intended to destroy them before it, they would have said, 'Our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger so we would have followed Your verses before we were humiliated and disgraced?'" [Quran 17:15] The order number of this verse in the Quran from its beginning is 2087; this refers to the temporal period in lunar years that separates the birth of Jesus, peace be upon him, and his descent, by the will of Allah Almighty. This is indicated in the table of event timings found in the appendix. This lunar year, 2087, corresponds to the Gregorian year 1447 Hijri and the year 2026 CE.

The verse informs us that Allah Almighty will punish the people of the Earth before the Day of Judgment with destruction and severe torment. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, explained its time in his saying: "Indeed, the Hour will not be established until you see ten signs before it... and the descent of Jesus, son of Mary, and the appearance of Gog and Magog, and three landslides, one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and the smoke that will engulf the people, and the Dajjal, and the beast of the earth that will speak to the people, and the fire that will drive people to the place of their gathering."
