The numerical and divine detail of everything; many of them strived to deduce some truths about its methods; as transmitted by the interpreter of the Quran, Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, in the determination of Laylat al-Qadr.

And similarly, what is transmitted from Ibn Taymiyyah regarding the determination of the year of the recapture of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Christians, relying on numerical miracles in Surat Al-Rum. And by God's praise and grace, it happened in the same year that he determined, i.e., the year 583 AH. Knowing that Ibn Taymiyyah did not witness this conquest, as he died in the year 536 AH, more than 45 years before it. Abu Hayyan said (745 AH) about this incident in his tafsir, Al-Bahr Al-Muhit, and he was hinting at it: "It is not permissible for anyone to determine the year of the recapture of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Christians, relying on numerical miracles in Surat Al-Rum, as God Almighty says: 'And they say: "Our hearts are covered." Rather, God has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is what they believe.' (Al-Baqarah: 88). And the numerical miracle in the verse 'And when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has revealed," they say, "We believe in what was revealed to us,"' (Al-Baqarah: 91) indicates that the Christians were defeated and that the Muslims would conquer Al-Aqsa. And Ibn Taymiyyah did not intend to specify the year, but rather to indicate the event. And Abu Hayyan was mistaken in this, as he believed that Ibn Taymiyyah was referring to hidden matters that could not be known except by God."

And this numerical miracle, through which some hidden truths in the Book are deduced, has many methods, the most prominent of which are: 1. The arrangement of the surahs, verses, words, and letters in the Noble Quran. 2. The calculation of Gematria, which is an ancient calculation that predates the revelations themselves. The Arabs used it before the descent of the Quran. Therefore, it is considered among the sciences of the Arabic language that the Lord of the worlds chose to be the language of the last book revealed by Gabriel to humanity.
