Does this common man's ignorance of the ruling on Taghut make him not achieve disbelief in it, even though he disavowed his action, hated it, and denied it? No, rather he achieved disbelief in Taghut by disavowing his action, denying it, and hating it. However, he is excused for ignorance regarding the ruling on Taghut. If a Muslim is ignorant of the ruling on takfir due to ambiguity in a specific situation, or due to lack of knowledge, or poor understanding, or a doubt that occurred to him, then all of this does not indicate a breach of the fundamental principles of religion, nor ignorance of it, as long as he disavows the disbelief of the one who committed disbelief and hates it. And so that you may know a sufficient and comprehensive response to the extremists in takfir, who issue the rule without Sharia controls: (Whoever does not disbelieve in a disbeliever is a disbeliever), I have prepared for you this research: (Declaration of Rejection of the Innovator Who is Extreme in Takfir). It will also become clear to you in it the most important Sharia controls that must be observed when applying this rule, and how they were the cause of the disbelief of many Muslims, and even mujahideen, without any Sharia evidence from the Book or the Sunnah. I ask Allah Almighty to guide us all to the truth and to the straight path. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. And may Allah bless Muhammad, his family, and his companions, and grant them peace.
