VIII The above sections of KABÁBÍSH are all in KORDOFÁN. The following, of whom the UM MATU are the largest and the ruling clan, are in Dongola Province. A certain number of them are sedentary, but the majority are nomadic and occupy the KÁB valley west of the river. They contain many elements of MAHASS and other DANÁGLA.
