When she saw that the Sultan was dead and without a successor, she feared for herself. She had a son named Habib, and she feared for him too. So she gathered with Muhammad Kara and said to him, "O Muhammad, do you have a plan to save me and my son from this situation?" He said to her, "Yes, the trick is that you connect your Habib to the Orphan, because he is the owner of the state after Sultan Turab, as all the people are pleased with him." She said, "Will you make a covenant between me and him and get from him that when he takes over, he will make me his wife and make my son Habib his successor?" Kara said to her, "I will do that, but it is what God wills." Kananah feared for her son Habib from Caliph Ishaq, because he was the son of her rival. She knew that the Orphan had no son. She said, "He will see my son." Muhammad Kara went to him and conveyed her greetings and informed him that she wanted to help him take over, on the condition that he marry her and make her son his successor. He made a covenant with him to do so. Muhammad Kara said, "What is there for me to do? I was a partner and I benefited from my effort in the succession, and I planned with my cunning to the best of my ability. Do not underestimate the weak, for many are killed by the sting of scorpions." The Orphan said, "If I do that and enrich you, I will appoint you to a position."
