Peace be upon the people of the caravan, and we congratulated them on their safe arrival. We stayed in these two places. Then we departed, and the people dispersed, each taking the path to their homeland. Not all the people of the caravan were from one town. Most of them were from their Syrian town called Kuwaybah, and some were from Kikaibah, some from Al-Shariyah, some from Jadid Kuriyo, and some from Jadid Al-Sunayl. Each of them went his own way. We took the road to Sarq Al-Dajaj. We traveled easily for about three days and descended on the fourth day, near noon, in the shade of a mountain called Yar'ab, near a well. We stayed here, and many people came to congratulate us on our arrival. A Bedouin named Sayyid Ahmad came there with many slaves and servants. He greeted his father and congratulated him on his safety. We had lunch and stayed until the day ended. The sun set, and the young and old departed. We set out at sunset, riding on camels, traveling on the plain. We entered Sarq Al-Dajaj after evening prayers, alone. From Al-Tawil, the camel may have settled, and the travelers' hearts were at ease, just as we were at ease with the traveling father. We spent that night in a crowded place due to the abundance of Muslims and the coming and going of people. Despite this, Sayyid Ahmad did not inform me of his affairs, and he kept them to himself.
